Robert I. Romo is a dual degree Master of Architecture and Master of City and Regional Planning student at the University of Pennsylvania. After a brief foray into the legal profession, and an undergraduate education in foreign policy, Robert realized that for him, the most effective way to make an argument is through design. Robert’s approach to architecture and urban design recognizes and seeks to engage in the complex interplay of political, economic, and cultural power dynamics that shape the urban realm.
Robert has professional experience in both architecture and urban design, and most recently completed an internship with Cooper Robertson in New York, helping complete university campus master plan proposals. Robert also has experience in residential and commercial design and construction through an internship with MESH Architectures in Brooklyn.
